Older Adult Programs
We live in a society that glorifies anti-aging and often overlooks the people who have contributed so much for so little in return. We believe older adults carry immense wisdom and value, and deserve to age in place with grace.
For folks age 55 and better, we partner with the Kelvyn Park Senior Satellite Center (KPSC) to provide programming, services, and courses for enrichment.
KPSC Health & Wellness Programs
At the Kelvyn Park Senior Satellite Center (KPSC), we offer a robust array of fitness, nutrition, social events, and digital literacy workshops for folks 55 and older. Our KPSC team also conducts 250+ wellness calls to connect older adults in the community with health and wellness resources.

Common Ground
Common Ground, launched in 2020, focuses on connecting older adults with their peers to build relationships, reduce isolation, learn computer skills, and receive a free laptop.
Bridge Builders
Kelvyn Park Senior Center’s Bridge Builders Program (formerly “Race Matters”) launched at the start of 2023 with the theme of “Relationship Skill-Building.” With the help of our partners at the Chicago Commission for Human Relations, older adults will learn about listening skills, patience, respect, communication, self-awareness, gender equity, and conflict resolution—all to help build bridges of friendship across cultural and racial differences. Bridge Builders meets twice a month at KPSC and includes raffles and prizes.
Ready, Set, Bank.
Online Banking Education
Supported by Capital One, we provide Ready, Set, Bank: an online banking class for older adults to gain the digital skills needed to maintain financial independence and protection.
Mobile Banking Access
Twice per month, PNC Bank hosts a mobile branch popup at Kelvyn Park Senior Center, open to all in the community. Check out our calendar for the schedule.
